Proposal Topics
Proposal submissions should highlight actionable insights, best practices and resources that counseling professionals can apply within their work.
Proposal may include topics such as:
- Evidence-based suicide risk assessment and intervention
- Crisis response and safety planning
- Suicide prevention in schools, colleges, and community settings
- Culturally responsive suicide prevention strategies
- Supporting high-risk or underserved populations
- Postvention and community healing
- Counselor self-care and burnout prevention when working with suicide risk
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Proposals should include:
- A clear and concise session title.
- A session description (150–200 words) that outlines objectives and takeaways.
- Target audience and skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Speaker(s) bio and relevant expertise.
